Hey Everyone!

I figured it’s about time I get over my anxiety of putting my face out there for all to see and let you get to know a bit about the gal behind Buffalo Mercantile.  I’ll try to keep this intro short and sweet for y’all :)
My name is Jess and I live in a small town in Northern Colorado with my handsome supportive husband (you’re welcome Brison haha) and beautiful 2 year old daughter.  Our herd currently consists of 2 horses, 2 border collies, and 5 chickens, but I’m always trying to convince my husband to add more critters to the mix.  After managing a quarter horse operation for the last 5 years, I took the leap of faith and pursued this dream of mine full-time.  My goal is to seek out unique handmade pieces for your life and home that you can treasure for years to come.  I believe in buying less and that quality is key.  We encourage you all to be thoughtful about the things you choose to purchase and put in your home or on your body—and hopefully pass them down to be cherished for years to come.
It has been such a wild ride thus far, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.  Through this experience I’ve really had to lean into God and trust his plan and promises.  Please know that each and every like, follow, purchase or recommendation is so greatly appreciated by our little family.  You guys are the reason Buffalo Mercantile is still here and we don’t plan on going away anytime soon.
Stay tuned for future blog posts that will bring product education, styling/decor ideas, “real-life” moments and inspiration, “Meet the Maker Mondays” and so much more.  We will also be adding another page to the site that gives more background on the what and why of The Mercantile.  Can’t wait to continue on this journey and hopefully add even more to your experience here at Buffalo Mercantile.  We love you all—have a fabulous week!
-XoXo & God Bless

So glad you put this up ! I bought a ring 30 years ago after being given 6 months to live post brain tumour surgery! The ring was “HOPE” tribe I think but it had thunderbirds on sides and turquoise stone! The little lady who sold it said to me “ the thunderbirds will protect you “ ! And they have! I congratulate you on your “ leap of faith “ and wish you all the success you can handle! It ain’t easy and I’m glad “we’ve found you
